While visiting the Lacey Diner last week in Forked River, New Jersey, I had what I consider to be a perfect lunch. I had a delicious bowl of Italian Wedding Soup and half of a Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

Growing up in the Bronx, it wasn't unusual to stop at a Luncheonette and order an Egg Cream. I love them with chocolate or vanilla syrup. Lou Reed even wrote an entire song about this refreshing drink.
