This one is for detail work Signed it with a little inlay The frame is sycamore and the handles are koa.

Just a chunk of bandsaw blade held with carriage bolts and cotter pins and tensioned with cotton twine. ▶️ DTube ▶️ IPFS

I had as scrap of koa so I stuck it on the lathe to give it some detail. It came out pretty nice. And that is before finish. It goes here; And holds tension on the blade. We have started a woodworking

The handle attaches to the cross brace with a mortice and tenon. The tenon is purposely cut a little loose and the shoulder is curved to allow the handle to pivot slightly as the blade is tensioned. I

I finished both handles. They are not exactly symmetrical, but hey, close enough for hand made. One still has a bit of bark on the back. I think I will keep it. I will try to reinforce the cracks later.
