Bisaya are an indigenous people of Sabah and mostly live in Beaufort district and some in Kuala Penyu, north west and coast line of Borneo, Malaysia.

This is Beaufort castle in its surroundings. I like how the branches in the foreground partially conceal the modern building. I could imagine it in days of yore (apart from the white benches to be sure).

This year, I've volunteered with the Friends of Hunting Island to protect loggerhead turtles. The program called the 'Sea Turtle Conservation' program allowed me to overnight with a group of 20 volunteers
