Bangladesh is also officially buying 30 million doses of the vaccine from India's Seram Institute, with the first shipment expected to reach 5 million doses by January 25.

He said that on the first day, doctors, nurses, heroic freedom fighters, teachers, police, army, administration and journalists will be vaccinated one by one.
