OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE: Health sector inbangladesh has been a revolution in recent times.Drastic improvement has been made in various aspects of health .Achieving MDGs, government of bangladesh is committed to achieve SDGs and Universal health coverage by 2030.different effective initiatives have been taken by the present government to bring health to greater dimension.
Under the leadership of her Excellency , prime minister sheikh Hasina, bangladesh is stepping ahead to its future that the father of the nation Bangabandhu sheikh Mujibur Rahman imagined. The journey of the country during refreshing its identity from "Least Developed " to "developing " country is nothing but a miracle to the entire world.innovations like community clinics, E_ health and Telemedicine has strengthened the health service in such a manner that the the world leaders along with different organisations have recognized these sfforts with respect and praise.
Greater attention in immunization and breast feeding, introducing ORS in treating diarrhoea,increasing health workforce, increasing proportion of skilled birth attendance during birth _ all these activities have constructed the foundation in reducing child and material mortality and ultimately achieving MDG targets within the time frame. Along with these successes the country is in a transition period where the communicable diseases are steadily slowing downand at the same time noncommunicable diseases are taking higher attention. Within last decade increasing life expectancy more than seventy two years is a prodigious triumph in health sector for the country. But,ir will also supplement the increasing trend of noncommunicable diseases among the population in future.

Again, the government of bangladesh is relentlessly working towards achieving the vital milestones and target of vision 2021&2041 which have stipulated the country to become middle income by 2021 and developed bt 2041.

Making decision generated from evidence based research can facilitate innovative changes concerning policy,advocacy and resource allocation, planning and management, and program system development and strengthening. Utilization of research in policy decision can lead to improved client outcomes and promote critical thinking and reflective practice.
Hence, planning Monitoring and Research, DGHS,proposes to organize national conference on health system situation and way forwards by 2041.The conference will give a big platform to foresee the health status of the country with the participant of the higher officials and different stakeholder of the nation.
The will also give an opportunity for deliberation of stakeholder on service delivery improvement to modify health policy.
