Colorchallenge Thursday Green — 绿豆苗 Mung Bean Seedlings

Happy Thursday!

I traveled to Chongqing several months ago. There I knew mung bean seedlings which we can put in the hotpot.

Before, I visited a lot of so-called Chongqing hotpot restaurant in Suzhou but I had ever seen mung bean seedlings. While in Chongqing, almost every hotpot restaurant offer mung bean seedlings, even the roadside shops in front of which they grow a lot. When customers order, the waiter will cut some directly.

Mung bean seedlings are very cute, ain't they? Put them in hot pot and it tastes quite crisp but also choked me, because hot pot is really spicy.

As soon I back to Suzhou, I specifically look for where there are mung bean seedlings. I found a restaurant in shopping mall Suzhou Center. They offer a Chongqing pot, the taste is very authentic.

之前去重庆旅游,认识了一种火锅配菜——绿豆苗。
在苏州的时候,吃了很多家所谓的川渝火锅,并没有见到绿豆苗,可是在重庆的时候,几乎家家都有,连路边的小店都有,很多店外面就种了不少绿豆苗,有客户点了,就减一些给端上桌。
绿豆苗是不是很可爱呀?放火锅里面涮一涮,吃起来很脆,可是也把我呛到了,因为火锅是辣锅,这一吸就直接把自己呛到了。
这次回苏州我也特意找哪里有绿豆苗,总算在苏州中心找到了一家晓渝火锅,口味真的是非常重庆了。
