Approximately 2-hour drive outside Prague is a small Moravian town Telc with its central square (Namesti Zachariase z Hradce) which is rightly regarded as one of the most beautiful in the country. Its triangular square hemmed by burgher houses with Renaissance gables and arcades makes it a picturesque place to visit. Together with the chateau, the historic center has been included on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List. Allow yourself at least a week if you are visiting Prague and would like to discover many other beautiful destinations within the Czech Republic such this beautiful Moravian gem.
