Fathers Day Classic Car Breakfast run.
As mentioned in my post Posting, Bettling and Load Shedding of 2 days ago, I went on a Classic Car Breakfast run with my old 1968 VW Fastback. (You can see photos of my car by following the link.)
This breakfast run was hosted, by a classic car dealer, who just moved to a new premises. You can see the large display area they have in the form of a shed!!
There was a nice turn out of old cars to join in the run. The car below is a South African only Ford Capri, it looks like the normal, but is a Basil Green Perana conversion, with a 302 Ford Windsor V8 under the hood. You can read more @ Ford Capri Perana
There was a good mix of cars, with some Porsches included.
I particularly loved this old Porsche!!
These old Chev bakkies (trucks) became quite valuable lately, and this one below is a particularly beautiful example.
There are always some VW Beetles in attendance at these events, but a convertible is rarely seen.
I also love these old convertible Mercedes's!
This breakfast run had a circle route of 135km, which was a very nice outing and all participants enjoyed the run immensely!!
I hope you enjoyed the post and that you have a wonderful day
