Singapura, negara kota (city-state) ini merupakan salah satu negara dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang tinggi di Asia Tenggara bahkan di Dunia. Bagaimana tidak, Singapura yang hanya memiliki luas sekitar 718.3 kilometer persegi ini mampu menjajal pasar dunia dengan mengandalkan sektor perdagangan jasa yang dimilikinya. Dengan luas area yang dimiliki, tak ayal Singapura harus mampu menata tata ruang wilayah negara dengan semaksimal mungkin, teratata baik, teratur, rapi dan terukur, hingga menambah luas wilayah dengan melakukan proyek reklamasi. Namun di tulisan saya kali ini, tidak akan membahas masalah reklamasi di Singapura, melainkan salah satu wilayahnya yaitu Clarke Quay.

Disamping itu, Di area Clarke Quay terdapat banyak shopping mall central yang menjual butik-butik, Electronic Store , dan food court.
