In my young years, we had a playground and the city football club FCB Havířov right behind the barracks. And so it was obvious that people used to cheer en masse. Before the club was tunneled, good football was played there. Although, of course it wasn't the league! The stadium was not divided into sectors at first, so it was common for a person to sit next to a fan of the opponent's team. But with a few exceptions, it didn't matter at all. It just cheered and even when the opponent made a nice trick, it was praised and vice versa. When our team scored a goal, they shouted and I didn't have to worry about a neighbor pulling me with a stick. He just lamented that the defense was worthless. And most of the time we agreed that the referee is responsible for everything. It just seemed different to me. They were cheering, but most of all - "They went to football". It is a pity that this is no longer the case today. And take your son to "football"? Rather not!

Za mých mladých let jsme měli hned za barákem hřiště a městský fotbalový klub FCB Havířov. A tak bylo dá se říct samozřejmé, že se chodilo hromadně fandit. Ještě než klub vytunelovali, hrál se tam obstojný fotbal. I když, liga to samozřejmě nebyla!
Stadion z počátku nebyl nijak rozdělený na sektory a tak se běžně stávalo, že člověk seděl vedle fanouška protivníkova týmu. Ale nijak to vesměs až na vyjímky nevadilo. Prostě se fandilo a dokonce, když soupeř udělal nějakou hezkou fintu, tak se to pochválilo a naopak. Když náš tým dal gól, řvalo se a nemusel jsem se bát, že mě soused přetáhne holí. Jen třeba posteskl, že obrana stála za nic. No a většinou jsme se shodli na tom, že za vše může rozhodčí.
Prostě se mi to zdálo jiné. Sice se fandilo, ale hlavně - "Chodilo se na fotbal".
Škoda, že dnes to už dávno neplatí. A vzít syna na "fotbal"? To raději ne!
