Before I share a little about one of the #cats in the house, Vero, I'm going to tell you a little about how the day has been.
We're already on Saturday night. This September 7th has been pretty calm for me. The weather at home hasn't been bad, we've had electricity and internet services working most of the day, so everything is pretty good. My brother has been working on his computer, to finish putting it together and be able to get back online.
Actually, my brother's computer gave us a couple of problems, because we discovered that the main hard drive had some kind of protection from the manufacturer so that it wouldn't run on any other computer. On this side of the world we usually build our machines, which are clones, and it's common for us to update parts on our own. So it's very annoying to find restrictions in this regard. Anyway, we managed to get the computer working, but we discovered that we didn't have a 64-bit operating system at hand… Now we have to download an official installation disk for this operating system, and I hope that everything will be ready tomorrow.

Despite that, we love this cat a lot. Even though, he has a rather bad temper and tends to hit the dog and the other cat in the house. We are worried about his attitude, because months ago he got into a fight outside the house, and he came back with a very hurt paw. It was hard to apply medicine to him, because he tended to lick his wound and could get intoxicated by the medicine we applied to the wound.
Despite that, we love this cat a lot. Even though, he has a rather bad temper and tends to hit the dog and the other cat in the house. We are worried about his attitude, because months ago he got into a fight outside the house, and he came back with a very hurt paw. Wow, I just heard Vero chasing the other cat to hit him, but my brother already separated them so they wouldn't hurt him.
I like my cat, but this situation of aggression is something we have to see how to deal with, because if he starts fighting another animal outside the house again, they might not have patience with him and seriously hurt him.

Antes de pasar a compartir un poco acerca de uno de los #gatos de la casa, Vero, voy a contar un poco de como ha sido el día.
Estamos ya en la noche del sábado. Este 7 de septiembre ha transcurrido en bastante calma para mí. El clima en casa no ha sido malo, hemos tenido funcionando los servicios de electricidad y de Internet la mayor parte del día, así que todo es bastante bueno. Mi hermano ha estado trabajando en su computadora, para terminar de armarla y poder regresar a estar en línea.
En realidad, la computadora de mi hermano nos dio un par de problemas, porque descubrimos que el disco duro principal tenía alguna clase de protección del fabricante para que no corriera en ninguna otra computadora. Por este lado del mundo solemos armar nuestras máquinas, que son clónicas, y es frecuente que actualicemos piezas por nuestra cuenta. Así que es muy molesto encontrar restricciones en este sentido. En fin, logramos que la computadora funcionara, pero descubrimos que no teníamos a mano un sistema operativo de 64bit… ahora nos toca descargar un disco de instalación oficial de este sistema operativo, y ya mañana espero que todo esté listo.

Aproveché entonces para pensar que publicar en mi registro del día, y me acordé de que estamos en #caturday, y justo hace poco logré tomarle unas fotos a Vero. El gato estaba durmiendo en el descanso de una de las ventanas, ya es de noche, y aproveché para tomar unas pocas fotos.

Vero no es un gato que sea muy cariñoso, y en serio parece que detesta las fotos. Bueno, en realidad, siempre tiene una expresión en sus ojos que pareciera decir (como el personaje de cierta caricatura animada vieja): Te desprecio profundamente.
A pesar de eso, queremos bastante a este gato. Incluso a pesar de que tiene un carácter bastante malo y suele golpear al perro y al otro gato. Nos preocupa su actitud, porque hace meses se buscó una pelea fuera de casa, y regreso con una pata muy lastimada. Fue trabajoso aplicarle medicamentos, porque tendía a lamerse la herida y se podía intoxicar con el medicamento que le aplicábamos a la herida.
