A Sea of Creators
The Caribbean is known for its delightful weather, crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, majestic sunsets, dynamic culture, and hospitality. This vibrant community also produces the most music and art per capita in the world.
Many artists and entrepreneurs need access to project funding, incubation, and the innovative benefits that blockchain technology provides–secure payments, social equity, automated royalties, NFTs and more.
Meanwhile, tourism is rising and more digital nomads are traveling to the Caribbean–providing an opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, foster local talent, and modernize our tourism ecosystem.
What is the Carib DAO?
The Carib DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) provides crowdfunding, educational, and community-centric support in the Caribbean with a focus on Blockchain and Web3 technology.
Carib DAO members are entitled to compounding benefits, incentives, services, and discounts within a growing ecosystem.
The CARIB Token
The native token of the Carib DAO ecosystem is the CARIB Token.

Token Distribution
CARIB tokens will initially be distributed as follows:
- 82% Liquidity Pools (70% locked)
- 8% DAO Fund (100% locked until proposal system launch)
- 5% Team (50% locked until 2024, and 50% locked until 2025)
- 5% Marketing (airdrops and awareness)
Incentivized HODL
CARIB Transaction Fees Benefit All DAO members.
CARIB token redistributes a 2% total fee on each transaction to:
- 1% distributed to all $CARIB wallets proportionate to the amount of $CARIB held
- 1% automatically contributed towards trading liquidity
Transparency
CARIB’s transaction fee redistribution system is automated by smart contracts written in Solidity–offering a transparent, passive income stream for token holders.
DAO members will be required to hold their CARIB on Binance Smart Chain to earn transaction fee rewards.
Reflection (Fee Redistribution)
CARIB is a pre-audited implementation of the RFI reflector token concept that uses smart contracts to manage, execute and monitor transactions securely on Binance Smart Chain, an open-sourced and decentralized blockchain.
inance Smart Chain has a clean track record without incidents or hacks, and there are no known vulnerabilities that could be abused on the blockchain.
The DAO Fund

EXCLUSIVE Opportunities
Carib DAO members can use their CARIB to post and vote on the funding of proposed projects and services—enabling access to exclusive crowdfunding and investment opportunities.
DAO Funding
In order to grow, fund, and replenish the DAO Fund over time, the fund account will accrue transaction fees collected proportionately to CARIB held within the fund. However, the fund account will be exempt from paying transactions fees.
Project proposal fees, utilities, and services will also provide additional funding to the DAO account.
Empowering Communities
The Carib DAO fund account funds can only be released via a vote by members. Empowering members with the ability to fund their own projects via DAO Approved Proposals.
DAO members will also decide on beneficial services for members, like travel reward programs and VIP travel services.

DAO Governance
There will be requirements, quorums, and thresholds set according to each section of the project proposal and governance boards. These requirements will ultimately be voted on by DAO members.

Much like traditional crowdfunding platforms, proposals will include exclusive offers and benefits to attract votes. Over time, these benefits will compound, creating a VIP experience for members when traveling to the Caribbean.

April 2022 Bitcoin & Blockchain Workshops
Carib DAO’s monthly workshops teach the basics of Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Web3 technologies including HIVE. We walk them through the process of signing up for various platforms, and they leave with a basic understanding of each.
For example, attendees are airdropped CARIB to learn how to send and receive cryptocurrency payments.

Fall 2022 – Web3 Platform & NFT Market
The Carib DAO-sponsored web3 platform (on the HIVE Blockchain) will enable content rewards, NFT minting, and an NFT showroom/marketplace.
Artists and creators can earn from their content and secure their social equity.
To raise awareness, our NFT Guild sponsors tournaments and players in popular blockchain-powered e-sports and play-to-earn games ie Splinterlands.
Q2 2023 – A Blockchain Institute in Paradise
We have secured land and contracts to build an accredited Institution in Negril, Jamaica. Blockchain, Web3, and DeFi courses will be taught in a state-of-the-art facility with lightning-fast internet and tropical serenity.
