A toolkit to help end the war on drugs

Guys and girls.
Bad news- The drug policies of governments around the world is fucked up. It is not based upon scientific evidence, it is based upon ideology, and often has political motives.

Good news- Things are changing. Here is a toolbox for when you need to deal with people who are spouting biased, non-evidence based bullshit around drugs.

Short intro- The drug war, and prohibitionist policies are largely from the mid 20th century when Nixon needed a way to marginalise the Black and left wing anti-Vietnam communities. here's a quote from an ex Nixon advisor:
“You want to know what this was really all about?” he asked with the bluntness of a man who, after public disgrace and a stretch in federal prison, had little left to protect. “The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

So it turns out as we study them, that most recreational drugs like MDMA, Ketamine, and LSD can be taken very safely. Some think, more safely than alcohol. Read these.

Trust me, the rabbit hole goes real fuck of deep regarding the politics of policy, but what I want to leave you with here, is a fantastic blog. This writer knows her fucking stuff, and even has a 120 page Masters thesis which you can read if you like. Here's the most useful article. It covers how to convince people of the case for decriminalisation. https://hilaryagro.wordpress.com/2017/09/08/how-to-convince-people-that-drugs-need-to-be-legalized-a-guide-for-getting-normies-on-board/

HMU if you require more resources. This is an important fight, and it goes beyond just using drugs recreationally. It goes to the heart of what we want to achieve as a global society. Is it peace and connection between all, or the production of goods in order to gain wealth and strive for that place within a specific prestigious social group where we can demonstrate our individual prowess.

Peace and love-
