Today I want to tell about inflammation.Inflammation is of two types : 1)acute 2)chronic.Cardinal Signs of inflammation are calor,ruber,dollar,tumour and loss of function.calor means heat,dollar means pain,ruber means redness, tumour means swelling.
1) Acute inflammation- Here inflammation is for short period of time .2)chronic inflammation- It is for long period of time.
The main cause for inflammation is infectious which may be bacterial,viral,fungal etc.,
Treatment is by mainly Steroids
