No, no… I’m not talking about a human’s brain, it’s the first computer virus ever written by two brothers in 1986.
So, here is the story about the first computer virus ever written.
The first virus which is attacked to MS-DOC is called Brain and it was written by two brothers.
Basit Farooq Alvi and Amjad Farooq Alvi, are those who write the first virus which attacked MS-DOC. They are from Lahore, Punjab (Now Lahore is in Pakistan).

The virus infects the boot sector of storage media formatted with the DOS FAT (File Allocation Table) file system.
They were running a computer store in Lahore When the brothers created the virus.
They found that their customer was circulating illegal copies of software which they wrote.
So, they decide to teach a lesson to their customers in a unique way and so they created the virus name “Brain”.
They give a statement in the interviews that they created the virus only for the illegal copies of the software, putting their names, phone numbers, and their shop’s address in the virus code. They were never thought of the virus growing into a global-sized monster, with powers beyond their capacities to control it.
The virus came with the brothers’ address and three phone numbers, and with a message that told the user that their machine was infected and for the vaccine call them.
