Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you had a day that was full of some positive experiences! Today I would like to talk a little about medicine and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.
Here you can see a plasma lamp invented by the well-known inventor Nikola Tesla (1856 - 1943) and in 1894 he filed his patent for this technology, which should be used to explore plasma in more detail. Plasma is an ionizing gas that consists of electrons, ions and neutral particles and the interaction with photons and energies leads to reactions and plasma can not only be produced artificially and can also be found abundantly in nature. There is also the so-called blood plasma with which you can confuse it and in this article, I would like to discuss the technology in medicine which is used in many ways and a separate category has emerged that has only focused on using plasma for healing purposes and it is a relatively new and revolutionary technology that reveals positive results in various areas. Much is still in research in this area and regularly new interesting facts or areas of application come to light and the results are extremely amazing and there are approaches that it can help against some serious diseases and in research people focuses specifically on the biological effects of plasma and particularly interesting are the effects of cold plasma. One of the main areas of application is the sterilization of wounds and it can help in the regeneration of wounds and it is often used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases because of these properties and so certain pathogens can be specifically combated. Especially with poorly healing wounds, plasma is often supposed to work miracles and currently plasma is almost used on the surface of the skin and in the field of dentistry there are many approaches that have shown that it has a huge influence on the oral mucosa and in some areas the medicine do not yet know the exact effect and new technologies are regularly brought to the market that are supposed to work with plasma and although there is still a lot of research in this areas, the experiences are still very positive today and as always, I would like to mention that in case of illness you should always visit your doctor or pharmacist of trust and should ask about the correct medicine as well as possible side effects!
