This was my birthday weekend. It's officially tomorrow (Monday in Australia), but I wasn’t going to hit 25 without having a night out with good vibes and a bunch of crazy people I call my friends! This weekend wasn’t just an excuse to do something for my birthday, but also in a way to commemorate the years to come.
And since the Gold Coast is less than an hours drive down the highway, I decided to book a hotel, attend Dracula's Cabaret Restaurant and hit up The Star Casino 😜

Did someone say dinner & a show? Because you had me at dinner, but show's a bonus! And I recommend the mesmerising experience of Dracula's. Sure, the tickets may be a bit steep, but definitely worth it for a good night out (and a 3-course meal! 😀) . If you find yourself in the area, look it up and if it's up your alley (it won't be everyone's cup of tea), then go and check it out for yourself.
The AVANI hotel was certainly welcoming. From the elegant foyer, to the clean, modern rooms. The location is just so convenient if staying in Broadbeach, being literally across the road from the newly renovated Star Casino. As well as a 5 minute walk to Dracula's... score! And was certainly handy with both destinations for the night being in close proximity. Also across the way is the major shopping centre, Pacific Fair.
And now, for a well deserved nap 😌
