Pibble is a Korean social media network that wants to be a decentralised Instagram. It was on Ethereum blockchain but will change to Klaytn.
Their description of the platform:
"Participants on the PIBBLE platform create social value by uploading and sharing media contents such as photos or videos. In other words, platform participants share uploaded contents and express their opinion through reactions such as ‘likes’ and comments, and the PIBBLE platform converts these expressions into social value. To do this, the PIBBLE platform provides cryptocurrency PIBBLE (PIB) and PIBBLE brush to participants as a reward system. That ‘Social Value’ refers to sympathizing and providing value to contents stimulating users’ emotions and reasons. The PIBBLE platform allows users to directly reward creator through upvoting."
After using it for a few months, I have to say that I'm not impressed. The idea and the design are good but the network is almost empty. There are only 4 - 5 active users. So my earnings are very low. Checked their Telegram group to ask a few things and again there's no activity. The administrator replied after a month and couldn't answer my questions. She just sent me to read the Whitepaper.
I think it has a potential but they must promote it and get some users in order to take off. Also, the voting process is confusing and having Level, Points and 3 different tokens doesn't help either.
