The information was announced from TorGuard's official Twitter account, where the firm explained that the Lightning Network will be the new manager of all Bitcoin payments made for the anonymity services offered by the network.
The main network of Lightning Network is not yet operational, let alone ready for production. However, TorGuard has decided to give a vote of confidence to the network and, in case there is any loss of money due to failures of the demo, they intend to cover any loss of funds sent from the LN. In this way, TorGuard has become one of the first companies to implement the Ligthning Network, in order to achieve transfers with almost immediate bitcoins and low commissions, taking a step forward towards the scalability of the network.
