How to grow your hair using The Inversion Method and Coconut Oil

PRESENTER: ☮REAL TALK WITH FAIRY☮

Oh my word, I hate it when my hair doesn't want to grow. Those stagnating days which go on forever. After some research, did I find that The Inversion Method was not only easy to follow, but gave me the results I was looking for.

Below I have given you a step to step guide on how the Inversion Method works.

Why Coconut Oil?

It should come as no surprise that Coconut Oil is swiftly becoming the must have beauty item to add to your collection. Coconut oil is loaded with saturated fatty acid and vitamin e, which means it is anti-bacteria and anti-fungal. Other benefits include -

  • Hair growth (hence this post 😄 )
  • Moisturizes dry hair
  • Conditioner, keeps your hair shiny and soft
  • Prevents hair loss and split ends
  • Slows down hair loss (yes men can use this as well!)

The Inversion Method

  • Warm 4 - 5 tablespoons coconut oil. Place oil in the microwave oven or use a cup of warm water and place the oil bottle in it. Do not overheat the oil otherwise you will burn your scalp.
  • Apply the oil to your scalp. Ensure that you cover your entire scalp with a layer of oil.
  • Comb oil through the hair making sure that each hair strand is coated.
  • Now massage your scalp using your fingertips. Massaging the scalp helps to simulate the hair follicles. Massage for at least 4 minutes.
  • Tip your head upside down. While sitting upside down on a chair, let your hair hang loosely. The aim is to relax and find a comfortable position.
  • Sit in this position for 4 minutes. Holding your head in this position increases the blood flow to your head/scalp which helps hair growth.
  • After the 4 minutes have passed, sit back up. Make sure to come up slowly, otherwise you might feel dizzy, weak or might just faint.
  • Leave the oil in your hair for at least 2 hours, but for best results your should leave it overnight. Make sure to cover your hair with a plastic bag or plastic wrap.
  • When washing your hair make sure to rinse out all the excessive oils. I would recommend washing it a few times with shampoo before exiting the shower to make sure you wouldn't be left with greasy spots.
  • Repeat this method for 7 consecutive days.
  • You should wait about 4 weeks before attempting this method again. Otherwise the scalp gets used to the excessive blood flow and the method wouldn't work as effectively.

WARNING: You should avoid inversion COMPLETELY, if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Pregnancy
  • Hernia
  • Low or high blood pressure
  • Recent stroke,
  • Heart or circulatory problems
  • Glaucoma
  • Conjunctivitis (“pink eye”)
  • Detached retina
  • Spinal injury
  • Swollen joints
  • Osteoporosis
  • Unhealed fractures or injuries
  • Ear infection
  • Obesity, or are otherwise unhealthy.
