Beautiful Sunday, Sublimely So!



Today is #beautifulsunday by @ace108 and #sublimesunday by @c0ff33a. I wanted to get my fruits all lined up for the week, so that is how I spent my Sunday, cutting and preparing for the next few days. It was a peaceful day. Me, the fruits and some music. Who could ask for anything more?


It was... Beautiful. Simply Sublime.


I have always loved fruits and vegetables, even juicing them to get the full nutritional value of everything that I buy. Waste not, want not, am I right? It was in juicing that I learned I could eat the skin of the kiwi. Who knew? Not this girl. This nutrient packed delight is already on the good deal list of fruits. But, did you realize that by eating the skin, you triple your fiber intake? But, hey! If you peel it, you still get a healthy dose of vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, folate, and potassium.

All fruits offer health benefits plus I always find them a satisfying snack or even lunch sometimes. When in doubt, I grab a few fruits to take with me. I can never go wrong and I always try to keep plenty in my house. And most fruit has such a wonderful taste when it is out as opposed to being in the refrigerator. So, I put them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and take them out a few at a time to let them assume the best flavor ever!

Another that is a favorite Okay, you got me, they are all my favorites! is the true-blue albeit a little red faced strawberry! Who doesn't love them? The strawberry is sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, plus it is a low-calorie food. Who could resist?

If there is any fruit that I push more any other; the one that lures me in with promises of high antioxidants and yummy goodness, the one that will lower my cholesterol when I approach that bridge, if ever, the one that will prevent heart disease... Oh, yes, that round little ball of blueness. My favorite blueberry. I even picked a few for the occasion. They were not as plentiful today, but, they definitely made up for the shortage by having a delectable suggestion of deliciousness.

Well, until next time. I will post a flower in a minute. After you eat your spinach. Let's not forget that we all need 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every single day. :)

Okay... you know the drill!!! Let's do a refrigerator check!!! Open up wide and take a picture! That always keeps me honest on the junk I put in it. I just finished shopping the other day, so it has awesome yumminess still inside!
