'Angles And Perspective'

Each one of us observes the world from his/her angle, a unique perspective of each individual. Perspectives change depending on our wishes, aims, possibilities, level of creativity and so on. We are not able to deeply understand another person before we understand what perspective he/she observes the world from. Sometimes it is easy to figure it out, sometimes is quite difficult. In some instances, we are completely unable to relate, and therefore fail to understand someone's standpoint. On other occasions, only several minutes is enough to fully understand a person. This usually happens when the perspectives are similar or aligned.

This photograph is portraying the idea I just explained. The dark and the light side of the composition form a line at a place where many angled lines clash. The light area is also divided between a light and a dark part. The overall tonalities are evened out. The white area is present enough but not as to take over the domination over the dark areas. Notice the fine structure both on the light side of the wood and dark side of the wall. Pun was intended.

What is the best way to approach different perspectives? Are you able to easily relate or it takes some time to shift from one paradigm to another? I believe it is a life-long struggle. A fined of mine, an elderly gentleman once told me that, just as we become perfect, it is time to say goodbye... :)
