We finally decided to start with this and this is our first attempt on special effects makeup.
We did not know how everything would turn out, so to practice this new art we decided to start with materials we have at home and watching many tutorials.
Por fin decidimos empezar con esto y este es nuestro primer intento de maquillaje de efectos especiales.
No sabíamos cómo nos iba a resultar todo, asi que para practicar este nuevo arte decidimos empezar con materiales que tenemos en casa y viendo muchos tutoriales.
Precisely by watching so many tutorials, we learned that with ingredients we have at home we could cover most of the materials needed for this type of makeup.
Precisamente al ver tantos tutoriales, nos enteramos que con ingredientes que tenemos en casa podíamos cubrir gran parte de los materiales necesarios para este tipo de maquillaje.
For example the fake "meat" is made with wheat flour, and the "blood" can be hair gel if you want the effect of coagulated blood or maple syrup if you want a more fluid blood.
Por ejemplo la "carne" esta hecha con harina de trigo, y la "sangre" puede ser gel para el cabello si se quiere el efecto de sangre coagulada o jarabe de maple si quisieramos una sangre más fluida.
The fake meat was a little dry but for the first attempt the truth exceeded by far our expectations.
We didn't use any special tools for the modeling other than what we had on hand, spoons, toothpicks, blades and ordinary face make-up but good quality one.
We thought we would make a big mess at home without any good results and it turned out to be a great one, with the same big mess, of course.
La carne falsa quedo un poco seca pero para ser el primer intento la verdad supero por mucho nuestras espectativas.
No utilizamos ninguna herramienta especial para el modelado, aparte de lo que teníamos a mano, cucharas, palillos, cuchillas y un maquillaje de cara normal pero de buena calidad.
Pensamos que haríamos un gran desastre en casa sin ningun buen resultado y quedo súper bien, con el mismo gran desastre, por supuesto.
