In 1894, after the death of the owner of Grand Duke Nikolay Nikolaevich, the palace was acquired by the treasury of St. Petersburg.
After the October Revolution of 1917, the Nikolaev Palace was handed over to the Professional Workers' Unions. The palace for a long time was called the "Palace of Labor".

You met one of the palaces of St. Petersburg - the "Nikolayevsky Palace". Thank you for your attention and I'll be glad to see you again on excursions around St. Petersburg.
