Sayulita es un Pueblo Mágico ubicado en las costas del Pacífico en el estado de Nayarit, Mexico. Es muy conocido por sus playas de oleaje fuerte, muy buscadas por los amantes del surf.
Otra de las cosas por las que es muy visitado este pueblo es por sus artesanías y es lo que hoy quiero compartir con ustedes. En Nayarit y otros estados es muy trabajado el arte Huichol, que se trata de cubrir objetos y esculturas con cuentas o abalorios muy pequeños y de colores vivos con las que forman diferentes figuras y simbolos ancestrales sobre los objetos, quedando estos completamente forrados por estas pequeñas cuentas.
Aqui comparto algunas de las figuras que encontré en una de las muchas tiendas de artesanías que hay en el pueblo, la verdad que es un trabajo admirable que lleva días y hasta meses poder terminar ya que cada pieza puede llevar miles de cuentas o "Chaquiras" como también se les conoce.

Another reason why this town is so popular is because of its handicrafts and this is what I want to share with you today. In Nayarit and other states, Huichol art is very much worked, which consists of covering objects and sculptures with very small beads or trinkets of bright colors with which they form different ancestral figures or symbols on the objects, leaving them completely covered by these small beads.
Here I share some of the figures that I found in one of the many handicraft shops in town, it is really an admirable work that takes days and even months to finish since each piece can carry thousands of beads or "Chaquiras" as they are also known.
