Started in Hive in January 2021...
My first publication was on February 15th, 2021. Back then I was amazed with the possibility of having a platform that allows to publish in one un-centralized decentralized platform. Without any constrains.
I've migrated from another platforms, and the social platforms weren't never appealing to me!
The main interest here in Hive was always in the quality and originality of the photos that I publish, and for illustrate them I used misused information that I gathered from internet and some published material (books). By doing that way, I wasn't making to gain profits from the content that was original published by other sources, I was trying to improve the quality in the text that was illustrating the photos and by giving some exact information about places and facts (dates, builders, numbers, population, etc);
By doing that, I was committing Plagiarism. Even though I wanted to just add some extra correct information, the sentences that I've used weren't referred in the publication.
I never meant to exploit the Hive ecosystem, but in retrospect, I was doing it, every time I was using sources without giving them due credit, no matter how small part these copied parts were in my posts.
I always tried to write decent posts, to share my photography and experiences; I don’t think I ever did “sh_tposts” just to try and reap the reward pool; I also buy Hive from exchanges and try to power up regularly. I even attended my first Hivefest this year, since I’m growing to enjoy the blockchain more and more! So it saddens me even more to realize that some of my actions here weren’t correct at all.
As many of you might know, since some of my followers are real persons that already met me in real life.
For that and for all that I wrote above, I fell very sorry, and ashamed, for that action. And I can say that I would never do it again. If I don't know the exact date of a fact, I would not use sources without referring them in the publication.
My true apologizes to the Hive community
I list all the publications that I've made in my account using sources without referring them:
