Who would have thought parrots in the Netherlands. These two beautiful big birds already survive here for over a year now. They have survived winter, which is unusual for these kind of species of bird. This whole neighborhood though, leaves a lot of food and leftovers in their gardens for the birds. I suppose they can stay and survive, because they are being fed by the neighbourhood. You can notice the birds are not that lightweight and are pretty fat.
In any case they must have escaped from a cage somewhere. They sure are noisy and like to talk to each other, I'm happy they are not lonely birds. May they grow old and if female and male duplicate. So far i'm enjoying their company, they are very beautiful and interesting birds, also for their intelligence.
