Waterfalls is one of the most beautiful scenery we encounter while visiting Samboan.
Samboan is a municipality that lies on the southernmost tip of the island of cebu and a 4 hours travel by bus from the southbus terminal in cebu city proper.Samboan is known to be the home of the waterfall trilogy in cebu,the Aguinid Falls,Hidden Falls and Dau Falls.I a self confess nature lover happened to visit the two falls except DauFalls because of limited time and a bus to catch.
..first stop
**AGUINID FALLS**
Some say the name of the falls was based on a local term*AGINOD*,which means a need to walk slowly though the locals say its not true for them because they climb the levels easily.Aguinid is a 5 leveled falls and its a series of climbing.
*LEVEL 1*
the first level is the starting part of the falls,you can dip in the torqouise blue water and starts taking photos before climbing and starts to aginod(walk slowly) going to the upper level.
*LEVEL2* the real thrill starts here because we need to climb the falls wall that is around 30 meters high,but no worries because there were cut handholds and footholds along the rockface of the falls for easy access and theres a bunch of local guides to help along the way
but believe me going up is much easier than going down.
*LEVEL 3*
these is where you can check out the cavern and go behind the curtain of flowing waters.
*LEVEL4*
the level features a pool for anyone who wants to take a dip.
*LEVEL5*
the crowning jewel,the most remarkable and instagramable part of the falls,its a good place to swim
as well as taking showers under the falls with a waist deep pool so anyone can swim.

**BINALAYAN FALLS or HIDDEN FALLS**
The falls is a Ledge falls and famous for its triple water drop.
after registering we go on a trek of flat terrains and cross streams and boulders before reaching Binalayan Falls,and you guess it right its another name is Hidden Falls because you can only see it after a series of right and left turns.It has a perfect diving platforms that goes straight into the small but deep pool
