AEW Collision Ratings Drop not Suprising

AEW Collision is the new AEW Dark Elevation for Saturday night, just prettier.
Let's face it: Everyone tuned in for the debut episode to see one thing: What CM Punk was going to say. We all knew he was going to run his mouth and he didn't disappoint. https://www.forbes.com/sites/alfredkonuwa/2023/06/27/aew-collision-ratings-see-massive-drop-in-week-2/?sh=36bd0b0f19d1According to Forbes, AEW Collision garnered just 595,000 viewers for the June 24 broadcast, down 27% from the premiere of 816,000 viewers. Collision was down a whopping 37% in the 18-49 demographic. Collision pulled a 0.21 in 18-49.
But are we really surprised? We all know this show was made to get CM Punk back on TV. By last week's episode it was obvious that this was going to be the "CM Punk Show where every other week he's gonna main event because we need our money's worth". The problem with this is he becomes a normal face on the screen and not a hot commodity. And if the stories are going to wrap just around him and not around talent like Miro (Who deserves a bigger push by the way) then yeah, no one is going to tune in.
We were curious, but not interested.

**Question: So who should be the Heel rival to Punk? **
