Consciousness, health, and excess of weight – "How can I be loved if I suffer from health issues?"

Excerpt: Do you know when it becomes most difficult to convince people that consciousness governs the physical? When they are confronted with their physical body. The evidence is right there - illnesses, chronic pains, weight - so how can I say that it's all psychic? In this post, I tackle the issue that bothers most people in the modern world - the excess of weight.

I have been approached too often with the following dilemma:

“You speak about love and how to achieve it. You claim that love is a privilege that every human being is entitled to and that it is not natural to not have love. But, how can I have love, or even begin to work towards it, if I have other serious problems in my life - illness or physical deformation like an excess of weight? What’s the point in doing the inner work of love if I will never be able to enjoy it with a sick or a fat body!?"

And indeed, although the question is legitimate it ignores several principles that are well rooted in the concept of love.

The first and foremost of them repeatedly emphasizes that your physical life is solely governed by your inner reality. That means that your physical well-being and the condition of your body, in particular, are subject to the directives and the suggestions that you choose to exercise. Every illness that seems to happen to you is the direct result of a mental blockage that you have put on yourself.

You must understand that health and physical well-being are a natural condition of the human body. It's not natural for the body to not be in balance. There is not a directive of any kind that says “at the age of 54 I will suffer from arthritis; at the age of 42 I will have cancer like my dad had” etc. Except for extraordinary situations (usually from birth) if you suffer from a chronic pain or if you face a severe disease it is because you have blocked the flow of the healing energy from coming into your life. Most probably, that flow was well teeming in your childhood and adolescent times but as you grew up you succumbed to ordinary beliefs about the deterioration of the body and its relationship with your inner world in general.

The weight problem in the modern world

Excess of weight, whether it is small or large in scope, almost always is the result of the following three lifestyles and Thoughts-style:

  1. You gain weight because you are afraid to show yourself to the world. You are afraid to speak up your truth either because you fear the consequences or you have not decided yet that what you have to say is worth to be heard. In both cases, it is a question of self-esteem and self-love. The mental blockages that you put between you and the world - those same blockages that keep you away from the reality around you – are translated by your nervous system to body weight. A good augury to identify your position in this category would be to ask yourself if you occasionally use lies in your interactions with the world.

  2. You gain weight because you fear from outside elements in your reality. Sometimes those fears were already rooted within the child that you were by your parents and your teachers. Those have told you that you should be afraid of God; Nature; Bad people etc, who would only want to judge you/hurt you/confuse you. Whichever the cause of your personal fear might be, it is you who allowed those fears to control you and override your inner power as the creators of your reality. Most probably you built that excess of weight to protect you from emotional or physical ghostly injury.

  3. A third main cause of gaining disproportionate weight is your imbalanced interaction with people. You gain weight because your interactions are not balanced. You spend time with people, you talk to them, you hear their problems and their issues, but instead of leaving all those behind you, you take it all in! You take their problems onto yourselves! Those huge amounts of energy are collected by you, day after day, moment after moment, and ultimately are translated by your nervous system into physical blockages of energy called fat. Finding the balance between your empathy, the desire to help other human beings and your own needs and well-being is a task that you will have to master in order to effectively help others while having an enjoyable life for yourself. Do understand, you cannot serve other people when you are out of balance. It's like giving sugar to a diabetic.

There is a catch-22 scenario here. You currently believe that you cannot begin your path to love until you first find solutions to your physical problems (illness and weight as presented in this message). However, the self-love IS the structure in which you will find those solutions. So again, you are facing the ultimate dilemma, who will you be? Masters of your consciousness or slaves to others'?

In addition to the above, you may also want to examine your dreams. Your craving for food in your waking hours does not stop when you go to sleep. You still need to feed yourself and to fill the reservoirs of energy which could not be filled on the physical planes while you are awake. Therefore, when you sleep, you travel to the close dimensions in which you absorb as many energetic foods as you can. You envision and dream of, huge quantities of food, literally food, be it cakes, hot dogs, fries etc, and you devour them. No wonder you cannot lose weight.

You are addicted to that type of energy and the first step is to cut the cord of seduction.

How? You already know the answer – Self-love. There is really no other way.
