My job: wild food picker

The most adventurest job out there, wild foods harvester!!

Every year i leave my beautiful paradise in Costa Rica to go to work, in USA/Canada. We go from forest to forest, with our 4x4, camping, and picking 50-90lbs a day each person, of mushrooms and berries, depending on the season, with a price varying from 4-12$/lbs.

Now the mushrooms just finished this week, and im heading to BC to pick huckleberries. My rav4 is packed as usual, the dog is getting a rest during the long road trip from Wyoming to Vancouver, then another 8 hours drive... He needs that rest, him chasing deers all day got him to lose way to much weight!!

The camp i'm going to is filled with friends ive known for years over the seasons. Many come live with us in Costa Rica for the winter. There's about 40 people at that camp, too crowded but still, its gonna be awesome.

I sometimes act as buyer, meaning i'm the one paying people cash daily, and i get to set up my team, which is even better.

Here's some pictures of previous years!!!
