Made my way down from Huckleberry Hill campsite to Horsepen Branch campsite for around 37 miles. My train doesn’t leave til Monday so will hit the final campsite 9.5 miles away then back to DC which is only around 17 miles.
Had a flat about halfway through so had to patch it up since I’m out of tubes. I noticed my photos didn’t load a couple days back so will give it another shot. Here is the pic of the wild pigmy cows I came across a couple days back.
They were about the third the size of a normal cow just a little bigger than a dog. There were no ranches or farms near here how the ended up this deep in the C & O trail is anybody’s guess.
