Came across a restored fort as I was making my way up the C & O Canal Hiker/Biker trail.
It was active during the Indian Wars and the Revolutionary War.
Missed the shot of the musket firing, it was so loud my hand jerked up and shot the top of the wall.
It is quite a gem with camping set up along the Potomac.
