Rolled up onto DC then headed out up to Swain’s campsite along the Potomac River. There is a canal with lock systems in place which are no longer used. Many of the old lock houses are still standing.
Then stopped to take a photo of the great falls
By this time it was dusk so I picked up the pace and made Swains campsite just before nightfall to set up for the night.
