This traditional hanging bridge is located in Gajah Ayee village, Aceh Pidie. In local language, it is called Tutue Ayon. It is an old bridge and there are several identical bridges at other villages.
Its function is same with other bridges in general, is that to relate lands separated by a river.
As you can see on the picture, the bridge is hanged by the iron barriers and its floor is made from board composition.
This bridge can only be passed by pedestrians and motorcycles. When you go through the bridge, it will swing. Eventhough a traditional bridge, it looks good and unique.
