Sigmund Freud believes that human nature itself is doped with desire and controlled by it, and childhood is the most critical time period for shaping the nature. In this movie, the children's childhood spent in the nightmare of fear and ignorantly matured. This is a movie belonging to children, but it is not suitable for children to watch. Because the film is full of violent shots, enough to leave a lifelong shadow for the children.This is probably what the film wants to do. I must admit that the new version of "It" is a good movie, which I really like.
Before watching, I can't imagine how terrifying the movie is. When the shocking sound and the jump scare appear, these things still can make people feel scared. In the film, in addition to the weird and evil clowns, the things that every child fears are often shaped, whether it is the scaring woman facing Stanley, the headless man that Ben is afraid of ,or the rotten face zombie that Eddie sees. Finally, we can find that these are the most painful and darkest secrets hidden in everyone's heart, and those fears, finally become your fear.
Seven people have seven different kinds of fears. In the last scene, everyone saw what they were afraid of, and they all dared to face and knock down the clown together. Almost every children, when they are young, should be afraid of night and nightmares, and they are afraid to go out. Why are not afraid when they grow up? Is it because they believe that ghosts are false after all, or because when they grow up, do they have the courage to face more unknowns? What did the growth bring to the children? Is it a bloody oath of friendship, or the ignorance of the beginning of love, or just courage.
I am grateful that this film has finally given a good ending. The protagonists have grown up in this fierce battle with fear and gained a better self and a better friendship. Finally, the protagonists agreed that after 27 years, if the clown returns, they will come back! The clown is the fear of the bottom of their hearts. In the following long life, if one day, when one of them face the cruelty of this world, they will come back to accompany him.
