It is actually probably a little longer than that. It goes all through the entire state of Wisconsin in the US. It isn't finished being connected by hiking trails yet. There are places where you walk on quiet roads. There is even a ferry water crossing! Almost 700 people have hiked the entire trail. Some have started at one end and through hiked the entire thing at one time. It takes some people about five weeks to do that, and it takes some people closer to five months! (That would probably be me. Lol) People of all ages have finished the trail. Some of the people that did the entire thing all at once are in their 40s, 50s, even late 60s and early 70s!
