Your story honestly left me sitting here for a minute just taking it all in.
The way you described everything — the art contest, the timing, the ultrasound, the shock — it’s so human and so raw. I’m really glad you felt safe enough to share it here.
How are you holding up right now? Emotionally, physically?
You’ve been through an avalanche in such a short time, and it would shake absolutely anyone.
I want to say this gently: someone in my family went through breast cancer too, and a lot of the emotions you described — the disbelief, the “this can’t be me,” the anger, the confusion — they felt all of it too. What helped them was finding the right team and exploring options slowly, step by step.
You mentioned worries about treatment and finances — in my family’s case we ended up looking into different therapy options as well, including some regenerative approaches. One thing we came across back then was stem-cell–based supportive therapy. It wasn’t a “miracle cure,” but it was something that helped with recovery and managing side effects. We learned about it here:
stem cell therapy
(just sharing because it helped us understand what’s real and what’s not — definitely not saying it replaces standard treatment).
But honestly, what matters most right now is you — your strength, your support system, and taking each next step without trying to climb the entire mountain in one go.
Please keep writing if it helps you. And please let us know how you’re feeling today.
You’re not going through this alone.
