I think I did enough mental cartwheels that I was able to stop myself from totally being a fucking jackass about it. Well, I mean, I appreciate the Rand Pauls and the Thomas Masseys of the world. But the problem is, I mean, they got there like 50 or 100 years too late.
You know, we wouldn't have these problems if we had a few hundred of those guys, you know, half a century ago. But we're here now and we've got to make a beachhead so we can have the future that we deserve. That, you know, they rightfully, you know, they're rightfully fighting.
We shouldn't have this kind of debt, but we just can't do it today. Yeah, the other thing, too, that I think people need to really understand, which is a huge fucking red pill, is that the United States, since we're the reserve currency, we're almost always going to have debt. You know, I think it's called the Triffin effect or something like that.
