You can imagine the ranches and all the needs for these metal gates and a good welding business. The guy, just an average type dude and got to know him fairly well. He now has seven, eight crews and trucks and all that.
He is doing over 6 million a year in welding and with the sixth grade education. There is real money to be made. I think one of the other benefits is that through the process, he's always been just an excellent patient teacher.
FFA, Future Farmers of America, all of the kids around him went through that with baby goats and pigs and all kinds of different livestock. He's mentored so many young people into the business. That's another thing is that you get the apprenticeship angle.
If you have a teacher's heart and a decent business mind and a good work ethic, what a wonderful field to get into one of these trades. The interesting thing about trades, when I first got involved with the trades, the master mechanic that I learned from is an older guy. He'd worked as a mechanic and his dad was a mechanic and his granddad was a mechanic.
He'd literally done it since he was 12 years old. He was so excited to meet somebody because every other person in the shop was his age. They're all the same age.
