-> Dear citizens, good morning!
Let me introduce myself: I’m zumzulik, I live in Italy, and this is my very first article in this community!
I chose to publish in this community because I’ve read so many interesting contents, and I hope to post just as many.
I was in the garden and I had a moment of melancholy, I think each of us meets this moment, it’s a natural thing, and I started thinking about how life changes quickly, and sometimes, in an unconscious and sudden way.
Maybe it will be because I’m close to midlife, which brought me to these thoughts, I know, many of you youngsters won’t understand, but surely someone will be able to understand me.
I’m satisfied with my life, I got married, I bought my house, I have a job that supports me economically, let’s say I have everything, even though it didn’t go at all how I had thought in my youth.
Do you feel fulfilled?
Honestly, I had to rebuild my life at 36, an illness made me totally blind and I had to face important changes, but, after a period of readjustment, I rolled up my sleeves and took charge of the situation again.
However, I feel like something is slipping away from me, it’s like a handful of sand between your hands that empties slowly, even if you hold it tight.
Yet, after an analysis, I’m not missing anything, or maybe, I’m starting to miss time.
Does it never happen to you?
This feeling has been accompanying me for a few days, I would like to draw from life with full hands, but something blocks me, holds me on a track from which I cannot deviate.
I’m afraid of throwing life down a drain.
I think I could do more, but at the same time, I feel I won’t be able to do more, maybe it’s insecurity, I don't know.
Have you found your dimension?
I want to share my thought with you, it’s not a post of complaint, I reiterate, I am happy, but this happiness is starting to feel tight for me.
Now I leave the word to you, and thank you for reading me!
Yours,
zumzulik
Carissimi cittadini, buon giorno!
zumzulik
