I had a client (a proprietor specializing in clothing for female motorcycle enthusiasts) who hired me - with one of my favorite project descriptions of all time: “I need a bad ass nun with a motorcycle”

I was pretty sick today (possibly the worst flu in the history of human illness) BUT - my copy of Christopher Moore’s new book, “NOIR”, arrived just in time to keep me company. A description of a hidden

It came to my attention that my original May-Long art project schedule was a bit off ... by a day... (I’m an artist, damnit, not a Calendar Maker!) The original schedule ALSO lacked a BeastMaster Day.

I’ve been listening to Foo Fighters Greatest Hits album on a pretty much constant loop — so I simply had to draw Dave Grohl ... why he is playing on the back of a T Rex is between him and my subconscious...

Sometimes I just like to take 6 or 8 hours and concentrate on drawing something with as many lines as humanly possible.

This was a Calvin and Hobbes style tribute to two of the characters from Philip Reeves’ Mortal Engines series. Don’t worry if you haven’t read it - the movie is going to be out this Winter.

Just putting it out there... I’m doing a May-Long Fantasy and Sci-Fi project and I’d love for you to play along (you know ... if you want to ... no pressure). You can do something new every day - or post

I Made another piece of fan art for the new season of “Archer” ... again featuring the alluring Pam Poovey

I just really wanted to see what a Heavy Metal ABBA logo would look like. It might look a bit like this.

I love Archer on FXX. It is almost impossibly good. The promo art for this Season featured the Ladies of Archer as WWII era bomber pinups. ...but they apparently skipped Pam. ...my favorite character.

This was a little idea I had blending Netflix’s Stranger Things with the iconic Calvin and Hobbes illustration. I am sure that I’m not the first person to think of this (remaking that cartoon image is

A bit of cover art. black and White for now - Color is coming! ... this is the original cover...

A Genghis Kahn edition of Heathcliff (Riding a Yak of course).

I keep playing around with this Cartoon Cat - because tge Heathcliff Comix people actually have a sense of humor.

To fit with the International Women’s Day theme- I drew a very detailed Red Sonja. ...of course the ink style is based on my admiration for the Great Ernie Chan — and the background is based on the natural
