The Scientific name of cabbage white butterfly is Pieris rapae. The family name of this species is Pieridae. It belong to Lepidoptera order. cabbage butterfly is the medium size species and it is identify by its color. The color of the upper side wings are cream white and have small black dotes on wings. This species can found at greenery places. It can be seen near the flower plants. Female lay light yellow color eggs. It comes from the green color caterpillar.
First stage of their life cycle is caterpillar after eggs then second stage is larva after that they change into pupa and after this a butterfly comes from it.
