So, I took a trip to Bag End. What an incredible place to visit! To anyone who believes the myth that this is some kind of "movie set," I am here to see that I have been there and it is a real place. It is a little known fact that LOTR was actually a documentary, filmed in real-time.

They let me take photographs, but none of the hobbits wanted to appear on film/sensor, so I did not photograph any of them. I hope you enjoy these photos of the rarely seen special and tucked away city! I took them on my Nikon D700 with a variety of lenses (18-35mm, 24-70mm, 70-210mm, 50mm).
