A transition that is supposed to be one of the best phases of your life ruined by our own youth and colleagues. You are in the present but your mind is wondering in the future. The mood swings are so overwhelming it almost feels like you’re depressed. Our very own minds torturing us over something it shouldn’t be worrying about at such a tender age. Wake up feeling sad, go back to bed feeling worse. Teenagers at age 17 already in a hurry to be so rich when they can’t even afford to setup a small-scale business. They have a contextual understanding of “dream big”.
Pressure from peers doesn’t make it any better. You’re seen as old-fashioned and broke if you don’t follow the trend. We want to have and use the latest Iphone, wear the latest branded shirts and jeans and drive the latest car. To what end? To what end I ask?
The young are willing to do anything and cross every line to get that paper. People that are supposed to be taken care of already driving cars, building houses and owners of estates. Fraud branded as hustling to make themselves feel better and good.
Dangling school careers with partying virtually every weekend. There is always a celebration but actually nothing to celebrate. School dropouts from high school result to social media fraud, calling themselves hustlers. They have no regard for the lives of people they’re ruining around the world.
Drug abuse at it’s peak. Teenagers so hooked on drugs pain meds don’t work on them anymore because their systems developed tolerance for the drugs. Needle marks all over their body with red sad eyes. What’s worse, they buy those drugs from pharmacies run by “responsible” medical professionals who will prescribe them anything for a good price.

You’re not alone if it feels like this phase is swallowing you up. Stay inside, build yourself, build your career, your future, in silence and peace at your own pace. Thanks for reading🙏. Stay strong💪
