Wondering if the public key is generated from the 24 word seed of the device?

Any idea when it will be available for Nano X? b5d8150e5dc5edf4463eecd6a05faab1d868d04947181ef14db25f68eb238ea1 matches up, so we're good to go. Assuming the website hasn't been compromised. Is there some

As a software developer running my own internet business for more than two decades (as my main profession), I feel like I missed the boat, because I remember finding out about bitcoin in January 2010.

That was painful to watch. Poor hopelessly confused people (and I used to be a Bernie supporter until I understood bitcoin in early 2017).

Our investment in cryptos will only help us through the transition between being dependent upon the system and learning how to live off ALL the grids. One thing that many in the crypto space say is that

I don't want KYC and have the same attitude that Andreas Antonopoulos does toward it. We need to abolish our government. It has gotten out of control and I'm constantly looking over my shoulder or my rear

It might actually be decentralized... from a megacorporation point of view. This is distribution but I think it won't stay that way. The decentralization necessary to keep anyone from leeching their claws

Mark my words, this is only the first of many such fights. Like starving wolves fighting over a rapidly shrinking bone, we will see banks, governments and multinational corporations attack one another

If you've been hacked, use your owner key to retrieve your account.

Of course, once Wall Street is shoulder deep in crypto, all will be well. Change is coming. However we need to be careful about those in wall street who see crypto as an opportunity to seize power. We've

@berniesanders has suggested the term "zuck bucks". Let's make it go viral.

We don't need their permission to start using "zuckbucks". We can start using the term now and make it stick. Hopefully the term will go viral.

I don't have Twitter or Facebook anymore (for about a year now) and unless I'm dealing with Coinbase or my banking system, I pretty much use Tor, or Brave with a VPN. I've been hardening my systems for

I can imagine a state actor who wants to destroy bitcoin attempting to do this (perhaps paying in the Trillions to bribe miners) because of the threat bitcoin poses to national fiat.

I think I see it. If a 51% attack where miners go back to the v0.5.3 bitcoin code, CSW is saying that they could start taking those old segwit UTXO's and start including them into their own blocks. Since

Are you aware of this? Not sure why this needs P2SH instead of P2PKH when miners can decide to fork for any reason. The claim is that v0.5.3 code (or earlier) in bitcoin interprets P2SH as "pay to

I wouldn't be obsessed with number chasing. A philosopher who recently died once told me that the Descartian tendency to reduce everything into single dimension (linearity) is a form of mental disease

The Satoshi v0.5.3 protocol views those P2SH addresses as scripts without any public key... So the miners roll back their software to the version of bitcoin that can only recognize the P2PKH. The full

If one is worried about rolling back the chain, could one use a DEX to spend into something like Monero and then back into a fresh nosegwit BTC address? Is it all addresses on chain that have only been
