I decided to go for a brief walk this morning. My soul has been feeling so tore and ripped apart lately that I might end cross-eyed. One eye looking at you and the other turned inward. So, I went for that much-needed encounter with nature.
Laying in the green, bright grass of this cloudy day, I started pulling and untangling the skein of my dreams. An unsettling thought made me stand up and continue to perambulate. There, next to the little old bridge I have been visiting for years, I found hope.
