IOTA why is it needed and what to do with it?
Let's try to figure out where this currency came from, which soared to the top 10 and flew there at an absolutely unthinkable pace.
IOTA promises a breakthrough in crypto technologies.
What is such a feature of iota why it attracts such attention including such a number of investors?
The fact is that this crypto currency is based on a slightly different technology.
Not on the classic blockchain that is less inefficient, energy-consuming, rather slow and expensive technology.
It is based on an alternative technology that gives in principle comparable indicators regarding the reliability of storage, security and lacks many disadvantages.
It is DAG technology and it allows us to do one very unique thing, which so far failed to implement other crypto-currencies- and this is а FREE transaction.
Thus, such a currency would be ideal automatized and it would ideally fit for all possible manifestations of devices, gadget devices integrated into our everyday life.
For example some quadrocopter who delivers the parcel from point A to point B can board a charging station to recharge, paying for the service with such a currency.
And many many other applications.
But in this technology everything is not so smoth.
Firstly iota not fully tested technology.
They use hashing algorithms, which they invented themselves, which means that today there are no guarantees that these hashing algorithms work completely correctly.
If scientists who have dedicated their entire lives to cryptography and doubt this algorithm are right, the whole currency can be laid aside in one second.
The second reason to be cautious with iota is that rapid growth was not always organic.
So the last spiral of growth was connected with the news that iota became a partner of microsoft and will jointly implement some "internet of things" solution.
Unfortunately later it turned out that this news was a lie and in fact there is no partnership.
IOTA took off 2-3 times, and then after the news turned out to be a joke a little rolled back, but still did not fall to the previous levels.
Thus, the currency is extremely promising and very interesting.
But with its own systemic risks, which can pull it to the bottom.
If you decide to purchase this currency, you can do it on the bitfinex exchange.
I recommend this currency only as part of your investment strategy.
But I do not recommend you buying the whole budget.
It would be too risky, because the currency has a too uncertain future.
And at the moment it is quite heavily overbought.
