Special Audiobook馃捊 Version Of My Murder Mystery Fiction: Within Closed Doors [ENG/ESP]
Oh, hi there! Boy am i glad to show you and the rest of the wonderful community here on the Writing Club, the new Audiobook i have been working on for my Murder Mystery Fiction : Within Closed Doors.
I must warn you though, the Audiobook is quite Amateurish. And this is heavily due to the low quality of sound and narration in the audio. Ha! Which, when i think about it, is the main essentiality of an Audiobook!
But oh well, perhaps i would be implored to get better sound recording equipments later in the future. That is, if this particular Audiobook version is received well enough.
Frankly, i plan to do more Audiobooks later in the future; expanding on many different genres while still maintaining my personal genre preference of: horror, mystery, crime, and murder.
What you would be listening to shortly, would be an Audiobook version of the First ACT of the story - the rest will come later.
Feel free to read along with the English lines that have been subtitled in the video(recommended) or visit the original link below to the story post for the worded text if you will.
Get your detective cap on!... Because we're about to delve into the mysterious crime setting that takes place in the Mansion Estate of Lord Hartford...
For the purpose of context, here is a short excerpt from ACT I:
You check your watch, it's 11:15pm now and everyone has been sitting quietly in the dining room, the conversation having died due to the tedium of waiting.
"It's well past dinner time now. Where is our host?" you say at last.
Philip, moodily swirling his glass of Scotch, gets up: "Hmm, it seems he has no intention of greeting us. Ha! don't tell me we came all this way just to wait in this room like scolded children!" He exclaims then drains his drink with one long gulp.
At once, everyone in the room bursts into light laughter and subtly, the party begins to liven up once more. But, ere long, Philip starts to feel himself getting pale. Immediately, you quickly notice his distress and ask casually:
"Sir Rodgers, are you okay?"
But no response. With those words, everyone seizes their ongoing conversations and diverts their attention to find Philip gasping for breath as he begins choking.
With wild gesticulations, he falls to the floor, shattering the glasses and cutlery on the table. Soon, his face begins contorting as he scrabbles hard at his throat. Immediately, you and the Butler try to help him out as the others present in the room scream and watch in terror. And after some seconds more, Philip slumps away.
The room soon becomes dead silent as everybody is left in shock and horror then, Dr. Jennings quickly rushes to Philip's motionless body. And sadly, after a brief examination, Jennings pronounces him dead. Immediately, the butler Redding leaves to search for Lord Hartford. At this time, you attempt to call the police, but on account of the storm, the phone lines are out.

Oh, 隆hola!
隆Ha!

A efectos de contexto, he aqu铆 un breve extracto del Acto I
驴D贸nde est谩 nuestro anfitri贸n?", dices por fin.
"Se帽or Rodgers, 驴est谩 usted bien?"
