Perhaps exhausted is an understatement of how I truly feel today.
I am everything weak, tired, exhausted, and in summary fatigued.
I can't say for sure when last I was as stressed as today without even doing much.
I woke up today feeling kinda sick. I didn't feel so good about my system, I was feeling really cold and I had a rumbling stomach.
I had guessed my body or system was just trying to adjust and adapt to the weather condition we have at hand.
But I just needed to do something about my health and how I was feeling.
I couldn't go to my industrial training today looking all sick so I had to warm hot water to calm my body both internally and externally.
After finishing up this, I ate and prepared to hit the road to where my industrial training location was.

The first thing on our list and agenda of things to learn and achieve in the four weeks of training we were given was Puff Pastry, what we commonly call puff puff here.
It was one of the easier-to-do things on our list and less costly too so we decided to prepare this first while the more tedious, complex, and costly ones come thereafter.
On arriving at the venue for the training we had to wait for everyone to be present before the practical kick-started.
We were divided into four groups of ten (10) people each and all members of each group were to make collective contributions to whatever we were gonna used for our practice session and then we were to carry out the practical after being taught and directed on what to do by the instructor.

The instructor briefed us on what to do, what we needed to know, the correct proportion of all the ingredients and recipes, and the procedures.
After which we carried out the practical with the knowledge of everything she taught and directed us on.
For each group, we were asked to measure 250 grams of flour, that was just the amount all the four groups were expected to work with. We added all the ingredients in their right proportions as directed and then left the mixture to rise a bit before frying them.

Since it was done in groups and not individually, we all made contributory efforts and helped out in our various groups and so at the end of the day, we were able to achieve something meaningful.

I must say the industrial training practical session today went well although we all got back pretty tired, and I am not even exempted.

No knowledge is a waste, so they say, and thanks to the University of Uyo, for providing us with this short period of learning and adding a few skills to our academic pursuits.
It was such a delightful moment to learn how to make puff pastry today and I would love to try it on my own someday at home.
Aside from the level of tiredness, it was a good day and today's session was a success!
